When shopping to buy aircraft keep in mind that it is quite different than shopping for a car. There are no dealers where you can browse through, air planes are much more expensive than cars and ‘test driving’ only takes place much later in the buying process and expenses are usually for your own account (fuel).
This of course means that you have to ask even more questions, require more information and most importantly do your homework thoroughly. Buying new airplanes usually means dealing with the manufacturer themselves, a good place to start would be their website. Also see reviews on specific air craft models.
Another option would be to shop for used Air craft. Once again experience, references and reputation goes a long way. Having knowledge about a plane you would like to buy is always a positive whether you are looking for a used aircraft or new air plane to buy. |
