Non-Destructive Testing
|
Non-Destructive testing or NDT as it is called is the analysis techniques science and industry to evaluate the structure and strength of a material without causing damage to it. NDT methods may rely upon the use of specialised machinery such as:
- Acoustic Emission;
- Automated Systems (Ultrasonic, Phased Array, Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant);
- Coating & surface inspection;
- Dye Penetrant Inspection;
- Eddy Current Inspection;
- Magnetic Particle Inspection;
- Phased Array Inspection;
- Radiographic Inspection (Kodak Industrex Film , X-ray, Gammaray, Radioactive Sources);
- Ultrasonic Inspection (Flaw Detectors, Thickness Gauges, Probes);
- Visual Inspection
