Now there is a word that (surprisingly enough) some employees fear… Yes you read right, the problem with teambuilding activities is that not everyone has the same idea of what is fun and what activities should be incorporated into team building events.
How well do you know your staff when it comes selecting corporate teambuilding events?
Teambuilding and what it is supposed to be:
The aim of teambuilding is to uplift morale within a corporation. There are many factors that can influence morale such as understaffing, burnout, outsourcing and miscommunication between staff and management.
Through activities such as brainstorming, collaboration, creativity, trust and feedback many team building exercises can be used. There also the option of choosing the indoors or outdoors environment for your teambuilding event. Ask yourself if your staff are in need of motivational talks or do they simply need to connect with each other in a not corporate environment to get their morale up again. |
