Water based Heating
The Florad under floor water heating system can be installed in any concrete floor and is suitable for all types of floor coverings, including solid timer and suspended timber floor.
Electrical Heating
This system is ideal for all forms of floor finishes from tiles, to wood, to stick down carpets.
Solar Heating
Solar collectors collect energy from the sun, which is transferred to water and then stored in hot water storage cylinders. The transfer of heat to the water can be directly or indirectly through a water and glycol solution. There are two types of solar collectors that are most commonly used:
Heat Pumps:
A short description of a heat pump is a “mechanical solar collector”. It extracts FREE solar energy from the surrounding air and increases its temperature for heating purposes.
Pool Heating
Pool heating solutions at Florad include Unglazed Solar Panels (in JHB only), Heat Pumps and Pool Heating via Pool Heat Exchanger.
